Austin Giovanni has been cutting hair professionally for years, and now runs Dad's Barbershop in Martensville. Opened in 2024. It's a one-chair shop: no assembly line, no upsells, no rush. When he's not at the chair, he's being a dad. That's where the name comes from.
Regulars know him for a few things: he's patient with kids (a lot of first cuts happen here), easy to chat with (or comfortable in silence, your call), and he actually cares about the cut you leave with. Certified stockist of Reuzel, STMNT, and Suavecito. The same products he uses on you are on the shelf.
Ahh where do I start!? This man started off as my stranger barber but as I kept coming back he turned into a good friend real quick. You'll never have an awkward silence cut with this guy. He always finds something to relate to you, whether it's being a dad (hence the name), sports, or whatever. He's an amazing dad himself but he's great with kids and first cuts too.
